Hanif "Heku" Sa Shekhem is a Marine veteran, contemplative therapist, and trauma-informed mindfulness teacher with decades of experience supporting people through stress, trauma, and transformation.

His work integrates MBSR, somatic techniques, breath regulation, intentional movement, and ancestral philosophy — bridging neuroscience with deep wisdom traditions that have guided healing long before modern psychology named them.

Heku's practice is grounded in lived experience. He understands how stress imprints on the body — and how healing requires more than coping. It requires a return to self.
